Impression 3 - Kandinsky
assististo After a concert that Schoenberg gave in Monaco on 1 January 1911 (had been performed the String Quartet op.10 and op.11 Klavierstücke) Kandinsky wrote to the composer, although not knowing him, so as to share your enthusiasm and noted that talk of the similarities between the his music and his paintings. A short distance from that concert, Kandinsky painted Impression 3 (Konzert), probably an elaboration of the pictorial suscitatagli strong emotion from the concert of Schoenberg: the canvas there is a large black spot that resembles a piano and a large area in yellow, which Kandinsky was the color of spiritual warmth, and some shapes on the left suggest the presence of the public
